About ITV 4 HD (ITV4 HD)
ITV4 HD [UK] is the HD version of ITV4, the British ITV channel combining sport, adventure films, classic series, motoring projects, crime stories and entertainment formats. It broadcasts in English and keeps the energetic character of the main channel.
Sport is especially visible through motor racing, cycling, darts, boxing and snooker. The schedule also includes adventure films, British and American series, technology and motoring documentaries, plus curated blocks with a brisk television rhythm.
The main ITV4 channel launched on 1 November 2005 and is owned by ITV plc. The ITV4 HD [UK] TV guide alternates sports events, films, episodes, highlights, repeat showings and themed blocks.
