About Sky Showcase HD
Sky Showcase HD [UK] is Sky's British flagship HD channel. It broadcasts in English and brings major Sky projects from different genres into one broad schedule.
The schedule includes Sky Studios original series, prominent projects from the wider Sky family, films, British and American series, entertainment shows, documentary series, sports events, talk shows and comedy programmes. Sky Showcase presents a curated mix of premieres, brands and formats from different Sky areas.
Sky Showcase launched on 1 September 2021 and replaced Sky One, which had existed since 1982. Sky Showcase HD is owned by Sky, part of Comcast Corporation. The TV guide includes series, shows, films, Sky Studios projects and repeat showings.
