RU TV HD TV guide for the week

RU TV HD is a Russian music television channel focused on domestic music videos and the Russian-language pop scene. It launched on 1 October 2006, broadcasts in Russian and centres on Russian artists, music premieres and entertainment formats.

The slogan "RU TV! Watch music" reflects the channel's video-based identity. The first Stol zakazov programme aired on 2 October 2006, and on 2 June 2007 the Tema chart appeared in the schedule, with presenters introducing five videos around a chosen theme.

Regular blocks include Klipovye bloki: hit za hitom and the Karaoke programme, both tied to popular videos and songs. The channel was founded by Sergei Kozhevnikov and is owned by Russian Media Group.

Since January 2017, RU TV HD has broadcast in HDTV format. The TV guide includes domestic music videos, music premieres, charts, karaoke, entertainment projects and repeat showings.
