About Da Vinci Learning

Da Vinci Learning is an international science and education TV channel. The first broadcast aired on 15 September 2007 in Poland. The channel is registered in Germany, with its broadcast centre located in Berlin.

The line-up centres on popular-science programmes about nature, space, technology, animals, human beings and culture. The channel broadcasts around the clock in 19 languages, including Russian, English, Ukrainian, Polish and Hungarian. On 1 April 2014, the channel switched from 4:3 to widescreen 16:9 format, and since 15 January 2018 it has been broadcasting in HD format.

Da Vinci Learning belongs to Da Vinci Media GmbH, the company behind the channel. Until 8 January 2018, the channel was named Da Vinci Learning, after which it was officially renamed Da Vinci. The channel is available through cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators.
