About Мир сериала HD (Mir Seriala HD)
Mir Seriala HD is a Russian channel devoted to Russian and Soviet television series. It began broadcasting on 15 March 2010, runs in Russian around the clock and brings together projects from different years and genres.
The schedule regularly includes Agent natsionalnoy bezopasnosti (National Security Agent), Deti Arbata (Children of the Arbat), Banditskiy Peterburg (Bandit Petersburg), Shtrafbat (The Penal Battalion), Mentovskie voyny (Cop Wars) and other series from Russian television history. Themed blocks combine premieres, archive screenings, crime stories, dramas and series about different historical periods.
The channel was founded by Mediamart and is owned by the RTVi media holding. In 2021 Mir Seriala moved to widescreen 16:9, and since 27 January 2023 it has had an HD version. Episodes, themed blocks, premieres, archive screenings and repeats alternate in the schedule.
