About Start World

Start World is a Russian entertainment channel focused on international films and series. It began broadcasting on 17 January 2022, runs around the clock in Russian and uses both SD and HD formats.

The channel brings together international series premieres, films and entertainment projects, with an emphasis on stories from different countries and non-English-language series. Its START and Walter Presents strand adds projects from around the world: European dramas, comedies, thrillers and auteur television.

In February 2026, the channel announced a rebranding and logo change. Start World was founded by Start Media TV LLC and is owned by Start. Distribution belongs to broad cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT categories.
