About Волейбол HD (Volleyball HD)
Volleyball HD is the high-definition version of Volleyball, the first specialised Russian TV channel devoted entirely to the sport. The channel runs around the clock in Russian, uses 1080i 16:9 and was created on the initiative of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation.
The schedule includes Superleague matches, the Russian Cup, the Victory Cup, the Siberia and Far East Cup, beach and snow volleyball tournaments, and friendly games involving national teams. Alongside games, the channel airs original and analytical programmes including "Zolotoy set" (Golden Set), "Voley-neobkhodimost" (Volley Necessity), "Litsa voleybola" (Faces of Volleyball) and "100 protsentov Pukha" (100 Percent Pukh) with statistics analyst Ivan Pukh.
The base channel began around-the-clock broadcasting on 1 September 2024. Volleyball HD shows match calendars, tournaments, analysis, interviews, repeats and themed editions about Russian and international volleyball.
