Jim is a Finnish national television channel from Nelonen Media, part of Sanoma Media Finland. It replaced Nelonen Plus on 26 February 2007, and its name comes from Jotain ihan muuta, meaning "Something completely different".
The Jim schedule includes documentary strands, reality formats, adventure and sports programmes, imported series, repeats from Nelonen and evening selections. Inside the Nelonen family, the channel occupies a looser and more niche position beside the main commercial channel.
Jim builds its programming around factual television, entertainment, sport and series for adult audiences. Documentary blocks, entertainment formats, series and sports programmes form the channel's core rhythm.
