MTV3 HD is the high-definition version of MTV3, a Finnish commercial television channel owned by MTV Oy. The main channel traces its history to Mainos-TV, launched as a programming block on 13 August 1957, and has operated as its own channel since 1 January 1993.
MTV3 is one of Finland's main commercial channels. Its schedule includes news, talk and current-affairs formats, entertainment shows, series, films, sports and major national projects.
MTV3 HD presents this programme in 1080i 16:9. The schedule shows prime time, news bulletins, evening shows, series, sports events and the main accents of the broadcast day.
