About Моя планета (Moya Planeta)

Moya Planeta is a Russian educational TV channel about travel. It began broadcasting on 1 November 2009, operates around the clock and has aired in HD format (1080i 16:9) since 1 December 2019.

Its line-up centres on documentary films and series about countries, cultures and nature. The channel uses the slogan "Travel without borders!".

Moya Planeta is part of the Tsifrovoye Televideniye (Digital Television) holding, a joint venture of VGTRK and Rostelecom. Nikolai Tabashnikov serves as chief editor. The channel is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators.
