Nickelodeon TV guide for the week

Nickelodeon is the Russian localised version of the international Nickelodeon children's TV channel. The channel began 24-hour broadcasting in the CIS countries and the Baltic States on 15 November 1998 in Russian.

The line-up centred on animated series, sitcoms, reality shows and feature films for children and teenagers, including Nickelodeon's worldwide hits — "SpongeBob SquarePants", "Avatar: The Last Airbender", "iCarly" and others.

On 16 September 1998, Nickelodeon International signed an agreement with Metromedia International Group, which handled the localisation of the channel in Russia. Programme dubbing was carried out in Moscow, where the local editorial office also worked.

The channel was part of the international Nickelodeon network owned by Paramount Global (formerly ViacomCBS), with the participation of the Russian partner Legacy Media. In connection with Paramount's suspension of operations in Russia, the channel ceased broadcasting in Russia on 28 April 2022. On 14 December 2022, Paramount completely halted the broadcasting of Nickelodeon Russia in other countries, replacing it with Nickelodeon Global while retaining the Russian audio track.
