About SIC K
SIC K is a Portuguese children's and youth channel from the SIC group. It launched on 18 December 2009 and is aimed mainly at school age, especially children and teenagers from about 7 to 14.
The channel carries animated series, live-action youth projects, entertainment programmes, comedy, adventure, music and shows built around children's own interests. SIC K keeps a light tone while still following the clear logic of children's television.
In the SIC K TV guide, animated series sit beside teen episodes, premiere blocks, repeats, themed selections and evening entertainment. The schedule separates the day into younger-child and teenage parts so different formats keep their shape.
