About SIC Noticias
SIC Noticias is the Portuguese news channel of the SIC group. In Portuguese, the brand is written as SIC Notícias, and its launch on 8 January 2001 made it Portugal's first 24-hour news channel.
The channel carries news bulletins, live reports, political and economic programmes, international affairs, analysis studios, interviews, reports and special coverage around major events.
