Ani is a Russian children's TV channel. Broadcasting began on 15 August 2015 in Russian and runs around the clock. The channel uses the slogan "Ani — sobstvennyy mir vashego rebyonka" (Ani — your child's own world) and is registered as a Russian media outlet.
The programme library contains more than 1,000 hours of world animation, including animated series such as "Pororo the Little Penguin", "Peppa Pig", "Chuggington", "Strawberry Shortcake", "Robocar Poli", "Angel's Friends", "Zig and Sharko", "Sky Dancers", "Betty Molniya" (Betty Lightning), "Power Rangers", "The Smurfs", "Dragon Hunters", "Winx Club: The Mystery of the Abyss", "Angry Birds", "Molang", "Monk Little Dog", "Tree Fu Tom", "Kate and Mim Mim" and "CJ the DJ". In 2024, new episodes of "Nu, pogodi!" (Just You Wait!) and "Leo i Tig" (Leo and Tig) joined the schedule. From 15 August 2015 to 11 April 2021, the channel broadcast in 576i 4:3 (SDTV), and on 12 April 2021 it switched to 576i 16:9 (SDTV). Nika Gorbunova (2015-2016), Darya Mazanova (from 2016) and Aleksandr Sharonov (from 2017) have served as the voices of the channel.
Ani is owned and founded by VGTRK, with OOO Nol Plyus Media as the channel's operator, based in Moscow. The channel is part of a media holding alongside Karusel, Mult, KinoMult and Mama. Ani is distributed through digital terrestrial television, cable and satellite networks of Russian and international operators, and through IPTV/OTT services.
