Jim Jam is an international children's TV channel for preschool and early primary-school children. The channel began broadcasting on 1 October 2006 and is registered in the United Kingdom. In Russia, Jim Jam launched on 1 July 2008 with a Russian-language feed and ceased broadcasting in the country on 10 March 2022.
The brand uses the slogan "Play, Learn, Grow". The schedule regularly features animated series including Peppa Pig, Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Masha and the Bear, Paw Patrol and Fireman Sam. Programming combines entertainment formats with educational cycles and is designed for children up to 10 years old.
Jim Jam runs in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV). The channel is voiced in English, Dutch, Romanian, Arabic, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Czech and Russian. Since 2014, it has been owned by the American company AMC Networks. Jim Jam is distributed through satellite and cable networks in more than 60 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
