Nick Jr TV guide for the week

Nick Jr. is the Russian localised version of the international Nick Jr. children's TV channel, aimed at children aged 2 to 6. The main Nick Jr. Channel launched on 28 September 2009 in the USA, taking the place previously occupied by Noggin.

In Russia, the channel broadcast in Russian around the clock. The line-up featured original programmes and series previously aired in the Nick Jr. block on Nickelodeon, preschool animated series and developmental cycles. From May 2021 to March 2022, the channel aired the "Noggin Hour" block featuring the series "Noggin Knows" and other projects.

Technically, Nick Jr. ran in SDTV 480i and HDTV 1080i. International versions of the channel are available in 22 languages. The channel is owned by the Nickelodeon group, a division of Paramount Media Networks within Paramount.

The headquarters of the international Nickelodeon brand are located in New York. In Russia, the channel was present in cable and satellite networks of pay-TV operators, and on 28 April 2022, together with other Paramount channels, Nick Jr. ceased broadcasting in Russia.
