About Мульт (Mult)

Mult is a Russian children's TV channel of the VGTRK holding, dedicated to Russian animation. Broadcasting began on 1 June 2014 at 14:00 Moscow time in Russian and runs around the clock. The brand uses the slogan "Tolko dobrye multiki!" (Only kind cartoons!).

The line-up centres on Russian animated series, including "Masha i Medved" (Masha and the Bear), "Mi-mi-mishki" (Be-Be-Bears), "Mini-Mishki" (Mini-Bears), "Koshechki-Sobachki" (Kitties and Doggies), "Leo i Tig" (Leo and Tig), "Skazochnyy patrul" (The Fairy Patrol), "Katya i Ef. Kuda-Ugodno-Dver" (Kate and Mim Mim), "Sem korolevstv" (The Seven Kingdoms), "Geroychiki" (The Little Heroes), as well as "Belka i Strelka. Ozornaya semeyka" (Belka and Strelka. The Mischievous Family), "Zhila-byla Tsarevna" (Once Upon a Princess), "Luntik", "Smeshariki", "Fiksiki" (The Fixies), "Barboskiny" (The Barboskins), "Tri kotyonka" (Three Kittens) and "Parovozik Tishka" (Tishka the Little Train). Since March 2015, the schedule has included the film magazine "Mult v kino" (Mult at the Cinema). From 1 June 2014 to 30 November 2019, the channel broadcast in 576i 4:3 (SDTV), and on 1 December 2019 it switched to widescreen 16:9 and HD format 1080i (HDTV), replacing the HD version of the Tlum HD channel, which ceased broadcasting on the same day. Nika Gorbunova was the voice of the channel in 2014-2018, and since 2016 Darya Mazanova and Aleksandr Sharonov have served as the voices of the channel.

The channel is owned by AO Tsifrovoye Televideniye (Digital Television). Anton Zlatopolskiy serves as editor-in-chief, with Irina Romantsova as programme director. Mult is distributed through cable and satellite networks of Russian and international operators in Russia and the CIS countries.
