Ostrosyuzhetnoye HD is a Russian film TV channel specialising in foreign films of action-packed genres. The channel began broadcasting on 1 October 2013 under the name Ostrosyuzhetnoye HD and operates in Russian around the clock. Since 1 September 2019, the channel has also operated under the Ostrosyuzhetnoye brand. The channel uses the slogan "Luchshie zarubezhnyye filmy v vysokom kachestve" (The best foreign films in high quality).
The line-up centres on action films, science fiction, thrillers and horror films of foreign production. The schedule focuses on premiere screenings and thematic blocks of action-packed cinema. From 1 October 2013 to 1 September 2019, the channel operated as an HD version, after the brand expansion, it has appeared in both 576i 16:9 (SDTV) and 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) formats.
The channel was founded and is owned by Tricolor, with NAO Natsionalnaya Sputnikovaya Kompaniya (the National Satellite Company) acting as the operator. The channel's broadcast area covers Russia. Ostrosyuzhetnoye HD is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian operators that support HD broadcasting, as well as through IPTV/OTT services.
