NTV [RU+2] is a time-zone version of the federal NTV channel with a +2-hour shift from Moscow time. It belongs to the eastern versions of the channel, where news, premieres, series and evening programmes are placed closer to local time.
The [RU+2] version repeats the editorial schedule of the base NTV channel. Its programming includes news, analysis and current-affairs programmes, films, series, entertainment projects and sports events.
The base channel went on air on 10 October 1993, has belonged to Gazprom-Media since 14 April 2001, and Alexei Zemsky is the general director. The NTV [RU+2] TV guide shows how the two-hour shift changes the timing of news editions, series premieres, evening projects, repeats and events.
