SPAS [RU+2] is a time-zone version of the Orthodox television channel SPAS, with the schedule shifted two hours from Moscow time. It follows the same broadcast day for eastern Russian regions, where evening conversations, news, documentaries and educational programmes appear closer to local time.
SPAS programming includes information and analysis shows, educational formats, Orthodox conversations, documentary projects, Russian films, animated cartoons, children's programmes and social cycles. The Moscow Patriarchate is the main owner, and Orthodox and educational themes remain the centre of the channel's identity.
The [RU+2] version moves the same programmes two hours forward. The TV guide shows that shift in evening conversations, documentary premieres, holiday blocks, repeats and editions connected with the church calendar.
