About Мир (Mir)
Mir [RU+2] is a time-zone version of the interstate channel Mir, with the schedule shifted two hours from Moscow time. It follows the same broadcast day for eastern regions, where news, analysis, films and evening programmes appear closer to local time.
Mir programming includes news, analytical shows, programmes about CIS countries, documentaries, children's blocks, series, films and cultural-educational cycles. The channel belongs to the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company, uses the slogan "This Amazing Mir" and gives broad attention to humanitarian and informational themes of CIS countries.
The [RU+2] version moves the same editions two hours forward. The TV guide shows that shift in news, evening programmes, film screenings, repeats and thematic projects about the Commonwealth countries.
