About Солнце (Solntse)
Solntse [RU+2] is a time-zone version of the Russian children's channel Solntse, with the schedule shifted two hours from Moscow time. It follows the same broadcast day for eastern Russian regions, where cartoons, family series, morning blocks and evening children's programmes appear closer to local time.
The base Solntse channel began broadcasting on 14 December 2022, replacing the Russian version of Disney Channel. Solntse programming includes animation, family series, learning and entertainment programmes, children's films, repeats of familiar projects and special thematic blocks. The channel belongs to Media-1 and works in the children's and family segment.
The [RU+2] version moves the same programmes two hours forward. The TV guide shows that shift in morning cartoon blocks, daytime learning programmes, family series, evening films and repeats.
