Rossiya 1 [RU+4] is a time-zone version of the federal channel Rossiya 1, with the schedule shifted four hours from Moscow time. It follows the same broadcast day for eastern Russian regions, where news, premieres and evening programmes appear closer to local time.
Rossiya 1 programming includes "Vesti" (News), "Vesti Nedeli" (News of the Week), current-affairs programmes, feature and documentary films, entertainment projects and sports broadcasts. Rossiya 1 belongs to VGTRK. Its broadcast history goes back to 14 February 1956, while the current brand has been used since 1991. Anton Zlatopolsky is the general director, and the slogan means "The Country's Main TV Channel".
