About Россия К (Rossiya K)

Rossiya K [RU+4] is a time-zone version of the federal culture channel Rossiya K, with the schedule shifted four hours from Moscow time. It follows the same broadcast day for eastern Russian regions, where documentary cycles, concerts, literary programmes and evening screenings appear closer to local time.

Rossiya K programming covers history, science, art, literature, theatre and classical music, along with documentary cycles, films, concerts and theatre recordings. The base channel launched on 25 August 1997 under the name Kultura (Culture), belongs to VGTRK, and Sergey Shumakov is the general director.

The [RU+4] version moves the same programmes four hours forward. The TV guide shows that shift in evening films, concerts, lectures, theatre recordings, documentary premieres and retrospectives.
