Karusel [RU+4] is a time-zone version of the Russian children's channel Karusel, with the schedule shifted four hours from Moscow time. It follows the same broadcast day for eastern Russian regions, where animated series, children's shows and family programmes appear closer to local time.
Karusel programming includes children's programmes, animated cartoons, TV series and feature films for family audiences. Regular projects include "Smeshariki", "Masha and the Bear", "The Fixies", "Three Cats" and "The Barboskins". Karusel began broadcasting on 27 December 2010 after the merger of the children's channels Telenyanya and Bibigon. The channel is part of Russia's first digital terrestrial multiplex and is a joint project of Channel One and VGTRK.
The [RU+4] version moves the same programmes four hours forward. The TV guide shows that shift in morning cartoon blocks, daytime learning programmes, family series, evening films and repeats.
