About СТС (STS)

STS [RU+4] is a time-zone edition of the Russian entertainment channel STS, with programming shifted four hours from Moscow time. The eastern edition brings series, family films, shows and evening premieres closer to local prime time.

STS programming includes feature films, TV series, entertainment shows, comedy projects, animation and family formats. The slogan "Time for Bright Emotions" matches the channel's light, comic and family-oriented tone.

The main STS channel began broadcasting on 1 December 1996 and belongs to the STS Media holding. It is a Russian private entertainment channel known for original series, comedy formats and family projects. Irina Varlamova is the general director, and Maxim Rybakov is the chief producer.

In the STS [RU+4] schedule, the four-hour shift is most noticeable in evening premieres, series, family films, repeat broadcasts and weekend programmes. The channel remains part of the STS programming family, while airtime is adapted for the eastern time zone.
