About Пятница (Pyatnitsa)

Pyatnitsa [RU+4] is a time-zone edition of the Russian entertainment channel Pyatnitsa!, with programming shifted four hours from Moscow time. The eastern edition brings travel shows, food projects and evening premieres closer to local time.

Pyatnitsa! builds its programming around light entertainment, travel, food, lifestyle formats, thematic cycles and evening shows. Original in-house projects are prominent, with presenters exploring cities, cuisines, hotels, habits and everyday culture.

The channel belongs to the Gazprom-Media Entertainment Television sub-holding. Nikolay Kartoziya is the general director and general producer. Broadcasting uses 16:9 SDTV and 1080i HDTV, while the Pyatnitsa! brand remains associated with travel, gastronomy and a light entertainment style.

In the Pyatnitsa [RU+4] schedule, the four-hour shift is most noticeable in evening shows, travel projects, food programmes, thematic repeats and weekend programming. The channel remains part of Pyatnitsa! programming, while airtime is adapted for the eastern time zone.
