About ТНТ (TNT)
TNT [RU+7] is a time-zone edition of the Russian federal entertainment channel TNT, with programming shifted seven hours from Moscow time. It is intended for regions using UTC+10 local time, where comedy series, reality formats, shows and evening premieres appear closer to familiar prime time.
TNT programming includes entertainment projects, comedy series, reality shows, original formats, films and thematic marathons. The brand is linked to Comedy Club Production and Good Story Media, so humour, sitcoms and in-house productions are especially visible.
The main channel began regular broadcasting on 1 January 1998 after a test launch in Saint Petersburg on 1 October 1997. TNT belongs to Gazprom-Media, and Tina Kandelaki has headed the channel since 9 February 2022.
In the TNT [RU+7] schedule, the seven-hour shift is most visible in comedy series, reality blocks, evening premieres, shows, repeats and weekend marathons. The channel remains part of TNT programming, while airtime is adapted for the eastern time zone.
