TV 3 [RU+7] is a time-zone edition of the Russian federal channel TV 3, with programming shifted seven hours from Moscow time. It is intended for regions using UTC+10 local time, where series, films and evening premieres appear closer to local time.
TV 3 focuses on genre entertainment. Its programming includes feature and documentary films, series, science fiction, fantasy, mystery stories and projects about secrets and unusual plots. The slogan "Switch on your imagination, switch on TV 3" supports that identity.
The main channel has been broadcasting since 6 June 1994 and has belonged to Gazprom-Media since February 2014. Konstantin Obukhov is the general producer, and since 27 December 2018 the channel has broadcast in 1080i 16:9 HD format.
In the TV 3 [RU+7] schedule, the seven-hour shift is most visible in evening series, films, mystery projects, thematic selections, premieres and repeats. The channel remains part of TV 3 programming, while airtime is adapted for the eastern time zone.
