About МИР (Mir)

Mir [RU+7] is a time-zone edition of the interstate television channel Mir, with programming shifted seven hours from Moscow time. It is intended for regions using UTC+10 local time, where news, analysis, children's blocks and evening projects appear closer to local prime time.

Mir programming includes news, analysis, programmes about CIS countries, documentaries, children's shows, films, series and cultural-educational cycles. Notable projects include the analytical programme "Vmeste" (Together), hosted by Yekaterina Abramova.

The channel belongs to the Interstate TV and Radio Company Mir, works in Russian and uses the slogan "This Amazing World". Its themes bring together news, humanitarian topics, culture and links between CIS countries.
