About Шансон ТВ (Shanson TV)
Shanson TV is a Russian-language music television channel launched on 27 December 2006. The channel broadcasts around the clock and builds its schedule around chanson, urban romance, bard songs, pop music, lyrical rock and Russian jazz.
The line-up includes modern and classic urban romances, singer-songwriter music, songs from films, folk songs, Soviet and Russian pop, world chanson, concert recordings, music videos, themed selections and repeats.
The channel is operated by MediaMart. Since 30 November 2023, Shanson TV has used the 576i 16:9 format while keeping a round-the-clock music schedule.
