About Disney HD
Disney HD is the German-language HD version of Disney Channel. The channel presents its schedule in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) and keeps Disney's children-and-family profile in German.
The programming includes Disney Studios animation, family films, teen series, music shows and evening movie blocks. Recognisable titles include Mickey Mouse, DuckTales, Phineas and Ferb, Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, along with Disney and Pixar films.
Disney Channel in Germany launched on 17 January 2014 as a free-to-air channel after operating previously as a pay-TV service. The channel belongs to The Walt Disney Company through Disney Networks. Disney HD is available through cable, satellite, digital terrestrial and IPTV/OTT networks that carry the HD feed.
