About N-TV HD
N-TV HD is the HD version of the German news and information channel n-tv. Its HD feed uses 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) and follows the schedule of the main round-the-clock channel.
n-tv focuses on news, business, finance, politics, international affairs, analysis, talk shows, reporting, documentary strands and science or history programmes. Business news, stock-market updates and regular coverage of the day's main events are central to the channel's identity.
The main n-tv channel began broadcasting on 30 November 1992 and became one of Germany's first 24-hour news channels. It is part of RTL Deutschland, the German division of RTL Group. N-TV HD is available through cable, satellite, digital terrestrial and IPTV/OTT networks that support the HD feed.
