About Super RTL HD
Super RTL HD is the HD version of the German children's and family channel Super RTL. Its HD feed uses 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) and follows the schedule of the main channel.
Super RTL keeps a children-and-family profile: the schedule includes animated series, entertainment and educational programmes, evening family formats and the Toggo and Toggolino programming blocks.
The main Super RTL channel began broadcasting on 28 April 1995 and became one of Germany's first major private children's channels. Until 2021 it was a joint project of RTL Group and The Walt Disney Company, after which it became fully owned by RTL Deutschland. Super RTL HD is available through cable, satellite, digital terrestrial and IPTV/OTT networks that carry the HD feed.
