Comedy Central is the German version of the international Comedy Central entertainment brand. The channel broadcasts in German and is built around comedy series, stand-up, sketch shows, satire and animated humour.
Its schedule includes American and international comedy series, animated hits and local projects. Recognisable titles include Friends, How I Met Your Mother, The Daily Show, South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, BoJack Horseman and Comedy Central Roast Germany.
The German version of Comedy Central launched on 15 January 2007 as a local edition of the international channel. The brand is part of the Paramount Networks portfolio. Comedy Central is available through cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks in Germany and other European countries.
