About H1 HD
H1 HD is the HD version of the First Channel of Public Television of Armenia. The channel is the flagship service of Armenia's public broadcaster, traces its regular television history to 29 November 1956, and has broadcast in HD since 13 September 2016.
H1 HD broadcasts in Armenian and includes news, current-affairs programmes, cultural and historical projects, educational shows, sports segments, documentaries, series, concerts and entertainment formats. The channel belongs to the Public Television Company of Armenia.
Within Armenia's public television system, H1 HD is the main public HD channel: it carries national news, major public events, cultural programmes and evening broadcasts. The channel is distributed through terrestrial, satellite, cable and IPTV/OTT networks, while the schedule combines news bulletins, premieres and repeats.
