About Русский экстрим HD (Russkiy Ekstrim HD)
Russkiy Ekstrim HD is the HD version of the first Russian television channel entirely dedicated to extreme sports, travel and adventure. The version airs in 1080i 16:9 format and follows the main channel's Russian-language line-up around the clock.
The schedule centres on travel, tourism, adventure and sports such as kayaking, paragliding, mountaineering, diving, parachuting, surfing, yachting and alpine skiing. A large part of the airtime is built around international competitions: the X Games, world championships in cliff diving, motofreestyle, Air Race, Crashed Ice, freeride, drifting and moto enduro.
Known programmes include the travel show "SOS" about travelling without money, the interview series "V gostyakh u Maksa" and the adventure travel show "V otryv". The main Russkiy Ekstrim channel also exists under the international brand Russian Extreme. Russkiy Ekstrim HD is distributed through Russian cable and satellite television operators, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms.
