About France 3
France 3 is a French public television channel from the France Télévisions group, known for its strong regional network. It broadcasts in French and combines national programming with editions dedicated to the regions of France.
France 3 grew out of French television's third channel and remains an important public-service outlet for regional news, local magazines, documentaries, culture, debates, cinema and entertainment. Its difference from France 2 is the visible role of local editorial teams and regional windows.
