About LTV7
LTV7 is the second public television channel of Latvijas Televīzija. It complements the broader LTV1 and gives more space to sport, documentaries, cultural programmes, films, youth formats and programmes connected with different communities in Latvia.
The LTV7 schedule brings together sports broadcasts, current-affairs and public programmes, documentary films, cultural projects, educational series and entertainment editions. This profile makes the channel a flexible extension of public-service broadcasting, with more room for genres and subjects that do not always fit into the main LTV1 schedule.
LTV7 remains a separate public channel with its own timetable and a more genre-driven character. Its schedule combines sports events, documentary films, cultural editions, evening films and special projects from Latvijas Televīzija, making the channel the second, more thematic line of Latvian public television.
