About Extreme Sports
Extreme Sports is an international TV channel about extreme sports, adventure and active lifestyle. The Russian version broadcasts around the clock in Russian and features surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, drifting, motocross freestyle, mountain biking, diving and mountaineering.
The schedule includes competitions, documentary series, athlete stories, travel features and programmes about the culture built around extreme sport. The channel relies on movement, risk, visual energy and the world of riders, with studio formats kept in the background.
Extreme Sports began broadcasting from Amsterdam in 1999 and developed as an international brand of Extreme Group. It is produced for different countries and language versions, while the Russian version is carried in cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks.
