About СТВ HD (STV HD)
STV HD is the HD version of STV, the Belarusian TV channel also known as Stolichnoye Televideniye, or Capital Television. It broadcasts in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV), runs around the clock in Belarusian and Russian, and follows the main STV schedule.
The line-up includes news, analytical and current-affairs programmes, Minsk city news, documentary series, feature films and series from Belarus, Russia and other countries, entertainment shows and music programmes.
The main STV channel began broadcasting in 2001. It is closely linked with the Minsk city agenda but has nationwide distribution and is one of Belarus's major TV channels.
STV HD keeps this profile in HD format and is available through cable and satellite networks, IPTV/OTT platforms and other HD-capable services.
