About Киноужас HD (Kinouzhas HD)
Kinouzhas HD is the HD version of Kinouzhas, a Russian film TV channel focused on horror films and horror series. The channel uses the slogan "Ochen strashnye novinki i klassika zhanra 'khorror' na odnom kanale" (Very scary new releases and horror genre classics on a single channel) and runs in Russian around the clock.
The line-up features horror new releases and genre classics, horror films of Russian and foreign production, series cycles and thematic selections of scary cinema. Premiere screenings regularly alternate with evening blocks of classic horror and thematic marathons.
The HD version airs in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) format. The main Kinouzhas channel began broadcasting on 1 November 2019. The channel was founded and is owned by Red Media. Kinouzhas HD sits within the holding's film channel line-up alongside other Nastroy Kino! channels and is distributed through cable networks, satellite operators and IPTV/OTT operators that support HD broadcasting.
