About M2

M2 [UA] is a Ukrainian music television channel that began test broadcasting on 27 June 2007 and moved to regular broadcasting on 1 September of the same year. The channel operates around the clock and is connected with Ukraine's music television scene alongside the related M1 channel.

The schedule includes music videos in Ukrainian, English, Russian and other languages, original music programmes, entertainment editions, information blocks, themed selections and repeats. Until 2012, M2 relied more strongly on music from past decades, then updated its graphics and broadened its content.

M2 is part of the StarLightMedia group and has broadcast in 16:9 since 2014. Its profile is built around music videos, music blocks, original editions, repeats and evening selections.
