About TLC HD
TLC HD is the high-definition version of the international entertainment TV channel TLC from the Discovery family, with programming for women. It broadcasts in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) and follows the main channel's schedule.
The programming centres on family, parenting, weddings, beauty, health, fashion, cooking, reality projects about unusual life stories, extreme medicine and long-distance relationships. The Russian slogan reads "Dlya tebya, dlya menya, dlya vsekh" (For You, For Me, For Everyone).
The main channel TLC began broadcasting in Russia on 14 January 2011, replacing Discovery Travel & Living. TLC operates around the clock and is owned by Discovery, Inc. TLC HD is available through cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators that support HD broadcasting.
