About Авто Плюс (Avto Plus)

Avto Plus is a Russian automotive entertainment TV channel. Broadcasting began in Russia on 1 September 2006 in Russian.

The programming centres on automotive shows including "Top Gear", "Novosti s kolyos" (News on Wheels), "Nashi testy" (Our Tests), "Grand test", "Kollektivnoye upravleniye" (Collective Driving), "Poderzhannye avtomobili" (Used Cars), "Marshrut postroyen" (Route Built) and "Dva kolesa" (Two Wheels). Avto Plus covers motorsport series Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3, DTM, WTCC, NASCAR, MotoGP, WRC and Porsche Carrera Cup.

Red Media owns the channel. From 1 September 2006 to 15 December 2016, broadcasting used 576i 4:3 (SDTV) format, and on 16 December 2016 it switched to 576i 16:9 (SDTV) and 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) formats. Avto Plus is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators.
