Arsenal is a Russian military-educational TV channel about the combat power of modern weapons, large-scale battles, historical victories and the fates of people in war. The channel operates in Russian around the clock and is aimed at an adult audience interested in military history and technology.
The line-up centres on popular war series and Soviet cinema classics, documentary films, investigations of military events and thematic educational programmes. The schedule includes in-house cycles such as "Vozdushnyye voiny" (Aerial warriors) about aircraft, "Restavratory" (Restorers) about a team of enthusiasts seeking out historic aircraft around the world, and "Stupeni Pobedy" (Steps of Victory) with documented accounts of the course of the Great Patriotic War. The line-up also features reviews of new developments of the Russian military-industrial complex.
The channel began broadcasting on 1 January 2020. The channel's founder and owner is the company Pervyy TVCh, with the channel's control centre located in Saint Petersburg. Arsenal is available through Russian cable and satellite television operators, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms.
