About Yoshlar

Yoshlar is an Uzbek state television channel of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, aimed at a young audience. Its current youth-channel format is associated with the 1998 launch of youth broadcasting.

The name Yoshlar means "youth", and the schedule follows that idea: news for young viewers, educational and cultural programmes, music blocks, social projects, series and entertainment formats. The channel broadcasts mainly in Uzbek, while some materials can appear in Russian.

Yoshlar works as a distinct youth line within Uzbek television. Education, city life, creativity, social activity, concert blocks, youth talk shows and repeat runs sit next to each other in its output.
