About Toshkent

Toshkent is an Uzbek state television channel of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, connected with Tashkent and the capital city's public agenda. It is known as a city channel with national reach.

The date 7 March 1994 is important in the channel's history, marking an early stage of the current Toshkent service in television listings. At different points, it was connected with the UzTV-3 format and city information editions.

The schedule combines capital-city news, public programmes, cultural projects, city reports, interviews, educational editions and entertainment shows.
