About Kinoteatr
Kinoteatr is an Uzbek film channel of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, dedicated to films, series and recorded stage productions. The channel was launched in test mode on 14 November 2013.
The schedule includes national feature films, international cinema, family films, adventure titles, melodramas, comedies, children's films, series and documentaries.
A distinctive part of the channel is its attention to stage heritage: recordings of Uzbek theatre productions can appear alongside regular movie screenings. Kinoteatr broadcasts in Uzbek and builds its line-up around national and world cinema.
The channel is available through terrestrial television and operator networks. In the TV guide, Kinoteatr appears as a dedicated film line with daytime screenings, evening movies, series blocks and repeat runs.
