About Балапан (Balapan)
Balapan is a Kazakhstani public television channel for children. Its schedule is built around the Kazakh language, animation, educational programmes, fairy-tale formats, music and calm developmental blocks for family viewing.
The line-up includes animated series, learning programmes, game and music blocks, children’s contests, family projects, cultural materials, repeats and special editions. Balapan has a separate place in Kazakhstani television: it is a children’s environment with clear age navigation and a softer tone.
The main broadcast language is Kazakh, while selected materials may also appear in Russian. Morning cartoons, daytime repeats, educational blocks, evening children’s programmes and weekend editions form the core of the schedule.
